INTRODUCTION
Within the "Center for Testing and Measurement for Improvement of Safety of Products and Working Life" (TEST-PRO-SAFETY-LIFE) EU project, the Central Institute for Labour Protection - National Research Institute (CIOP-PIB) is organizing a VIRTSAFE workshop on the application of virtual reality technology for safety and health purposes. It is expected that experts from the main European OSH institutes and Polish universities of technology which use VR technology for safety and health purposes will attend this workshop. Different experiences will be presented and discussed to develop improvement strategies for the future, aiming at achieving practical solutions for the EU challenge in the industry - a reduction in the number of occupational accidents and diseases.
