The Centre operates in compliance with the requirements of the EN 45011 standard "General requirements for bodies operating product certification systems". The right of the Institute to issue certificates for products was confirmed on December 19, 1994 (accreditation certificate AC 018).

VOLUNTARY CERTIFICATION OF PRODUCTS
CIOP-PIB, accredited by the Polish Centre of Accreditation (certificate of accreditation no. AC 018) provides, as voluntary procedure, products’ conformity assessment with relevant technical standards or other normative documents.

Voluntary certification covers such groups of products as:

high voltage insulating and protective equipment, ladders of general use work clothing and textile materials intended for protective and work clothing sunglasses, air filters and filtering materials, woodworking tools, office work chairs, hydrophobic, hydrophilic gels and creams and barier creams, sleeping bags, textile for medical service, spectacle frames, spectacle lenses,

Voluntary certification is provided according to product certification system no. 5  (PKN-ISO/IEC Guide 67)
