In the paper statistical data concerning causes of accidents on construction site were presented. Special attention was turned onto polish small construction enterprises significantly influencing on accidents increase in this sector. Agents shaping osh state in these plants were discussed. The reality of small plants acting were described. Technical, organizational, legal and economical aspects were taken into account which are important for assurance of osh state. Essential function of general performers and competent institutions were pointed in the assurance of safety work of small construction enterprises.
Protection of the operators of suspended guns for resistance welding against electromagnetic and biomechanical hazards Patryk Zradziński, Danuta Roman-Liu
Investigations of electromagnetic and biomechanical factors affecting concurrently workers operating suspended resistance welders have been performed. The results showed a high variability of the level of internal measures of electromagnetic exposure effects and musculoskeletal system load depending on both the worker’s posture and resistance gun location and size. This paper presents also construction and operating procedure optimization rules and worksite guidelines of workers’ exposure by suspended resistance welders done on the basis on investigations results analysis. It was also proven that simple organizational activities referred to particular worksites’ can limit hazard level of resistance welding gun operators to concurrent electromagnetic and biomechanical even a few times.

This article presents multimedia visualizations of accidents, where occurrences connected with mechanical threats related to individual machines in a mechanical workshop are staged. Ready visualizations may be used as tools enriching training materials on occupation safety and health, and may be used in training machine operators, OSH services and employers.

The level and quality of healthcare defines the sense of safety of patients who use medical services. Proper analysis of causes, monitoring and reporting of unwanted occurances and medical errors can help evaluate healthcare systems. Focussing on ergonomic conditions of those events lowers their number and reduces damage.
