Optical Radiation Laboratory - About the Laboratory

 Scope of activities of the Laboratory:

- Establishment of scientific bases for optimising lighting conditions at workstations,
- Determination of the requirements and criteria assessing the influence of optical radiation on human health,
- Development of methods of measuring parameters of optical radiation,
- Measurement of lighting and optical radiation at workstation,
- Development of methods of eliminating or reducing hazards related to excessive optical radiation at workstations,
- Co-operation in establishing standards in optical radiation,
- Identification, measurement and assessment of hazards non-laser optical sources at workstations,
- Training courses for specialists and lectures at postgraduate studies.
