The
Principles and Methods of Assessing the Working Environment is a quarterly publication of the Interdepartmental Commission for Maximum Admissible Concentrations and Intensities for Agents Harmful to Health in the Working Environment.
The quarterly publishes (a) source/review articles; (b) documentation – monographs on chemical agents and physical factors, with special focus on their adverse effect on the human body in the working environment, and with explanations for the suggested and approved in Poland values of their Maximal Admissible Concentrations (MAC) and Maximal Admissible Intensities (MAI); (c) methods of determining chemical agents and physical factors at the workstation; and (d) reports on the activity of the Interdepartmental Commission for Maximum Admissible Concentrations and Intensities for Agents Harmful to Health in the Working Environment.
This publication is indispensable in assessing risk related to chemical agents and physical factors in the working environment and in establishing appropriate medical, organizational and technical prevention. It is addressed to employers and services responsible for preventing hazards and creating an appropriate working environment.
The journal is indexed in BazTech, CISDOC, Chemical Abstracts, EMBASE/Excerpta Medica and Index Copernicus.
